Since Carrie and I will be at TCEP 15: The Elder Party this weekend, we will not be hosting Ludus on Labor Day, September 1st, 2008. Ludus will resume its normal schedule on Monday, September 8th.
We hope to see you at TCEP, but if not, have a good (and safe) holiday weekend!

Most folks escape the DC area for the holiday, but with nothing else planned but sit around watching the grass grow and the mosquitoes breed, we've decided to host a one-day gaming, jewelry, and movie extravaganza. So come, play games, watch movies, make jewelry (or just see how someone else does it), relax and enjoy yourselves!
Feel free to show up anytime after Noon, and stay as long as you like. We'll either have things to grill, or order out for pizza.

Carrie and I will be hosting Ludus on Memorial Day. We'll be up in Philadelphia visiting Carrie's family, but we expect to get an early start back on Monday, so we hope to be ready for playing games early -- say 3:00pm. I'll update this if plans change.
Edit: 3:00pm gaming is a GO!

This year Ludus is up against Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. Unsurprisingly, gaming is not what people have on their minds, so we will not be hosting Ludus for the next two weeks. Spend the time with your families and friends. We'll see everyone on January 7th, 2008.
Happy Holidays!

We spontaneously decided to have friends over for dinner (french bread, beef and noodles, turkey and noodles, chocolate cake) and ended up playing Power Grid:
- Germany: Dave kicked ass on Craig, John, Tony and Dana.
- Italy: Craig narrowly beat John.
Attendees: Craig Trader and Carrie Hafer, Sallie, Dave and Tony Montuori, Dana Leader, and John McMahon.

Most folks escape the DC area for the holiday, but with it being dab smack in the middle of the week, that isn't an option this year. With nothing else to do but sit around watching the grass grow and the mosquitoes breed, we've decided to host a one-day gaming, jewelry, and movie extravaganza. So come, play games, watch movies, make jewelry (or just see how someone else does it), relax and enjoy yourselves!

We expect to be hosting a normal Ludus, in spite of the holiday.
